A fun Metroidvania in a retro futuristic style inspired by a 1970s aesthetic.  It's a game that's irreverent and slightly absurd.  But I wish they leaned into the absurdity a bit more.  It seems to me like they dipped their toe into it and played it safe most of the game.  Perhaps Headlander is a little simplistic, but the gameplay is good and it doesn't overstay it's welcome.  The platinum takes between 8-15 hours depending on your playstyle.  There is only one missable trophy (male driver) that can be achieved 10-15 minutes into a new playthrough, so a blind playthrough is encouraged.  The map is easy to navigate and trophy clean up is fairly easy with careful observation.  Unlike other metroidvanias nothing is particularly well hidden.  

I would definitely recommend this game.  I had a lot of fun with it and if you are looking for a short easy trophy hunting experience you can't go wrong here.  Maybe sooner than later as this game, like many Adult Swim games, may be on the chopping block for delisting in the near future.
