This game started out strong for me, as I'm a fan of both the Aliens series and of strategy and tactics games, but it fizzled out halfway through my platinum run.  

The story is pretty mid.  It starts off well enough.  There is enough mystery and action to keep it interesting from one mission to the next along the first ? but the later part of the story starts to fall apart.  The back half seems hastily written and I began to lose interest toward the end and the desperation I felt in the crew of the Otago dissipated as the plot to get off the alien infested planet morphed into something else I don't want to spoil.

Gameplay wise, its a decent real time strategy stealth game.  There are many mechanics in the game and each of them is punishing when you screw up.  Take too much time and the infestation level of the planet grows, producing more aliens.  Let the aliens see you too many time and the hive becomes more aggressive and sends out tougher enemies.  Skipping the optional area for loot and you may not have the resources you need to complete a mission in a timely manner.  The back half of the game also has a doomsday mechanic that limits how much time have to complete the last half of the game.  The mechanics are a delicate balance that keeps the gameplay tense, especially in the limited saves mode "No One Can Hear You Scream."

My main problem with this game is the bugs.  Man, did I experience a plethora of them.  Bugs that prevented saving.  Bugs that prevented marines from taking orders.  Bugs that prevented objectives to be completed.  Bugs where aliens would detect you through walls.  Bugs that prevented you from progressing to the next day.  There were a lot.  And when one of your runs is a limited saves run it's really annoying.  

This is a decent game that is fun to play once.  However, for the platinum you'll need to play the game twice, unless you are really good at strategy games and, even then, I wouldn't recommend it.  Playing this game on Nightmare difficulty, with No One Can Hear You Scream mode, is doable, but it would make for a difficult time with all the bugs that could screw up your save.  

This visual novel is set in the Steins;Gate universe. It follows a couple high school kids who want to make a giant robot. This VN is done so well. The story isn't anything too crazy, the voice acting was great, the writing was great, the story entertaining. The only thing I didn't like was how the "Phases" happened. If you don't follow a guide it would be near impossible to figure out what to do. Great game.

So this is a rogue-like, poker hand, deck building game. What a weird combo lol. I heard so much about this game when it came out, and that lead me to watching youtube video let's plays. I watched a bunch, thought I was going to stomp this. But no. I repeatedly got my butt kicked. Still, it's a lot of fun making the numbers go brrrr. The RNG when going for the C++ wasn't actually all that bad. The only time I got frustrated was going for the last joker. It just did not seem to want to show up appropriately. Still, not annoying enough to put me off from thinking about doing the PS4 stack. Great game. Give it a go before they nerf Blue Seals.

very easy game other animals do not give you much a challenge so makes it more of run here and then there more than a challenge but that said quite a chilled game you can relax while playing it just a grind to get few last trophies 

This game was great. I enjoyed the story, as simple as it was. I enjoyed the characters. The dungeon crawling was fine, nothing crazy, but done well. The best part is probably the notes system. These are little notes left by other players. You have a selection of words that you can use and limited space. I was cracking up at some of the silly things people put. The worst part is how luck based some of the boss fights are. Sometimes fighting a boss you will have half your team wiped out by the end of the first turn. Sometimes on the same boss, you can two shot the boss. I think it would have been a bit better if my team was the best comp, but my team was good enough. If I decide to stack, I will def use the BiS team just to make the post game bosses easier. Overall, great game.
