Poison Control is a quirky, stylish third-person action game with a distinct anime aesthetic and a charmingly bizarre premise. It blends shooter mechanics with light RPG elements and a visual novel-style narrative, making for a unique experience that doesn't quite hit every mark but still manages to be enjoyable in its own right.

One major caveat: there's no auto-save. I learned this the hard way after a crash caused me to lose all my progress and start the game over from scratch. Save frequently-you'll thank yourself later.

As for gameplay, the third-person shooting mechanics feel off, with imprecise aiming that can make combat feel clunky at times. That said, some bosses can be easily cheesed with the right strategy or positioning, which takes away some of the challenge but may be a welcome break for more casual players.

Despite its mechanical flaws, Poison Control has a cute and fun atmosphere. The writing leans heavily into its eccentric tone, and the game's art direction is colorful and distinct. If you're into offbeat titles with personality and don't mind a bit of jank, this one's worth a look-just don't forget to hit that save button often.

This is a game that had been recommended to me again and again. I found a super cheap CIB on Ebay and it sat on my shelf for another two years. Then, finally, I started playing. And oh my. It was SO GOOD. Cheesy and fun, this game was great. Combat felt pretty good, considering the age and it being a PS3 game. Music was decent, art was amazing. The levels, although only 6 of them, felt very different and were enjoyable. You have to play each level a few times for different trophies and it was still fun playing them again. Each level had some unique mechanic that really made the level stand out. The story was silly and over the top, but not in a bad way. They knew they were making a silly game and leaned into. I am very much looking forward to playing the remastered versions.

Hold the knife, Be the knife and cut through objects with the satisfying sounds that come with the slice. If you like slowly cutting things slice by slice this is the game for you!

WARRIORS: Abyss is a hack and slash Rougelite game. the controls are smooth and for the most part every character plays slightly different. This game is however a grind, Not a bad one but you will be doing many runs before you have your first full clear of the game then many many more to get the platinum.

If you are looking to hunt monsters this game is for you even if you are new to the series. You are in a new land slowly solving problems as the come up, these problems of course involve hunting monsters. This entery is easier the other entries by quite a bit with many QA additions to help new players and returning hunters alike. Capcom has seasonal updates set up to add new monsters and events. The platinum journey will take time though, The crowns although much easier to get in this game will still be one of the longer time sinks this game has.
